February was a busy month for cross-countries, indoor athletics and also a fair few road races thrown in.
It’s impossible to mention every single item, but the highlights were:
- Strong performance by our junior athletes in the Cheshire Schools cross-country (held at Knights Grange), on the same day, several athletes competed in the BUCS XC Champs in Cardiff.
- There were performances over in the US, including Holly Smith in Indianapolis.
- There was the MACCL (Manchester league) cross-country at Kenworthy woods with a strong team from VRAC across all ages groups.
- Battersea 10K later in February saw fantastic performances from Ed Pettit and Chloe Dooley.
- In the indoor athletics world, there were competitions held at Birmingham and by Sale Harriers in Manchester, with great performances by VRAC athletes.
