Club Records and PBs at the Cheshire T&F League Meet at Bury

There were brilliant performances at (a very sunny) Bury on Sunday 14th July 2013, in Round 3 of the Cheshire Track and Field League.

In the SM 100m, Ryan Stringer and Jack Forster both ran 11.9 seconds for a new club record (and a PB for Ryan).

Perhaps the most astounding performances of the day came from Louis Greenwood. He ran a PB in the U17M 200m with 26.4 seconds.
Then he threw a new club record of 46.19m in the Javelin, beating his own personal best by over 10m (and winning the competition by over 19m).
He then went on to a second place in a thrilling U17M high jump competition with a jump of 1.70m, beating his PB by 15 cm.

Bethan Kelly broke the club record for U13G Javelin with a throw of 13.97m in her first javelin competition.

Other PBs were achieved by Jordan Kelly (5.45m in the U13M Shot and 1.20m in the U13M High Jump) and Isla Law (3.46m in the U11G Long Jump).

At the end of the day the SM 4x100m relay team won in 47.5 seconds to set another club record.

There was, also, a good turn out from the U11s, with many competing for the first time.
